Growing up on the outskirts of rural Carrollton, Missouri, of course my story began on the farm. From checking calves with my dad to riding in whatever type of machinery the season called for, the Grant Family Farm raised me to be agriculture proud, goal driven and determined to tell the farm's story for the generations to come. Moving to the city of Springfield to attend Missouri State University was tough as I missed my rural roots, however after finding the newly founded Agricultural Communications major, I learned how to tell the story of not only our farm but of agriculture through media, writing and photography. Once I picked up a camera, I knew telling stories through photos is what my heart was meant for. Upon graduating and moving back to my hometown, I began Century Farm Photography where I spend my weekends and evenings telling the stories of my clients through photos.
My Story
The weather vein in my brand's logo sat upon one of the original buildings on our Century Farm. After the building was collapsed, the vein was retrieved as a keepsake and used to represent my photography brand.
